General conditions of sale

Booking conditions

– To stay at the LVL campsite, membership in the association is mandatory (€1/person/year).

– The reservation only becomes effective after approval from the LVL reservations department and receipt of the deposit (acceptance of these terms and conditions is done either online or upon signing the paper reservation contract).

– LVL is free to refuse a reservation request based on availability and, more generally, for any requests that may interfere with the organization's operations (for example, a group booking individually, a request for an overnight stay at a time favorable to longer stays, individuals or families who have caused inconvenience during previous stays, etc.).

– Pitch reservations are strictly personal and may not be sublet or transferred without LVL's authorization. The person making the reservation in their own name must be present for the entire stay.

– Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians (unless authorized by management).

– The number of people per campsite pitch may not exceed 6.

– The number of people per rental depends on the maximum capacity of the accommodation.

– Any additional guests (including visitors) must register at reception.

– The tourist tax amount may vary after your reservation depending on the vote of the municipality of Gruissan.

– Pets are allowed, except for Category 1 and 2 dogs (and other potentially dangerous animals). A vaccination record will be required upon arrival. Dogs must be kept on a leash and their droppings must be picked up (otherwise, they will be excluded from the site).

Payment conditions

A deposit of 25% of the total cost of the stay will be required upon booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to the stay. For reservations made less than 30 days prior to the stay, the full amount must be paid.

Any reservation not confirmed by payment of the deposit or balance, as applicable, within 48 hours will be automatically canceled (excluding groups and CAF stays awaiting subsidy).

In the event of late payment of the balance, the association reserves the right to relist the service.

Change of Stay

If the pitch is not booked 24 hours after your scheduled arrival date, without any response from you, the management reserves the right to relist your pitch or rental.

Unused services (late arrivals, early departures) are not eligible for a refund, except for those who have purchased cancellation insurance and in accordance with its terms and conditions.

Cancellation by the Association

In the event of cancellation by LVL (except in cases of force majeure), the stay will be fully refunded. This cancellation will not give rise to the payment of damages.

Cancellation by the Guest

Below are the amounts retained by LVL based on the cancellation dates:

30 days or less before the end of the stay 100% of the stay + membership/administration fees

LVL strongly recommends that you subscribe to the cancellation insurance “Campez Couvert“(more information on our Insurance page) in partnership with Gritchen Affinity. The only condition for the guarantee to apply is that the event giving rise to the cancellation be random, unforeseeable, and beyond the control of the insured.

We provide the general terms and conditions of the contract so you can compare them, as well as the different insurance rates.

Your stay

While we will do our best to accommodate your request, management cannot guarantee a specific pitch number; the service is contractually binding.

Arrival and departure dates, as well as the minimum stay, vary depending on the season.

In July and August, the minimum stay is 7 days. However, LVL reserves the right to refuse a reservation that results in a gap in the schedule between two guests. Therefore, the reservations department will offer you stays with dates or durations slightly different from your initial request. Arrival and departure days in July and August are Saturday or Sunday.

At the campsite, arrivals are from 3 p.m., departures before 12 p.m.

At the rental property, arrivals are from 4 p.m., departures until 10 a.m.

Any departure after these times will result in an additional charge of one day.

LVL declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, insect bites, etc., or in the event of any incident falling under the camper's civil liability.

Any person who does not respect the internal regulations may be excluded from the site and/or the association without claiming any reimbursement (in particular for noise pollution and inappropriate behavior).

Deposit – inventory – inventory

For stays in chalets or mobile homes, you must provide two deposits. A €300 deposit (check or credit card imprint) will be required.

The accommodation department will carry out an inventory before your arrival and after your departure. Any problems must be reported immediately to reception upon arrival for prompt action. Failure to do so will result in no subsequent complaints.

The accommodation is your responsibility; it must be returned with the dishes cleaned and the trash emptied and cleaned (trash area at the campsite entrance). Deposits will be returned within a few days of your departure, after inspection by our teams.

If the optional cleaning package was not selected: a cleaning deposit of €70 or €90 (depending on the type of accommodation).

If the accommodation is not in good condition upon return, LVL reserves the right to collect the deposits.

Refrigerator rental during a stay on a pitch: €120 deposit

If a dispute persists, the aforementioned amounts will be collected in full by the campsite, pending payment of the invoice for the damages caused. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is delegated to the courts of Narbonne.

Mediation of consumer disputes

In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code concerning the "consumer dispute mediation process," the customer has the right to use the mediation service offered by LVL free of charge.

The "consumer rights" mediator thus proposed is AME Conso. This mediation service can be contacted by email at www.mediationconso-ame.com/demande-de-mediation-ame – by post: AME Conso, 11 place Dauphine, 75001 PARIS – or by telephone: 09.53.01.02.69.

Online reservation

In accordance with provisions L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the provision of accommodation services other than residential accommodation.

Data Protection

The information you provide to us will not be shared with any third party. In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, rectify, and object to data concerning you. All requests must be sent in writing to the association's headquarters.
